Things I've Learned So Far...

1) The sun does shine in England
2) The weather really isn't that bad
3) The salt and vinegar crisps (chips) are A) now in a green packaging and B) way better in Britain
4) There's a Gregg's on almost every corner in City Center (what the English call downtown), and they have pasties. I had a cheese and onion one today in fact!
5) They do indeed have vending machines (Sara!)

6) Their grocery stores are a bit confusing, everything is so different here name wise!
7) The exchange rate will kill me by the end of this trip, but, the shopping is too good to be true sometimes here!
8) There is a switch on the wall to turn everything on, including each individual outlet.
9) I've never enjoyed hearing the word "love" so much in my life
10) Classes start no later than 9 and go no later than 5.
11) It's a duvet, not a mattress pad, and that is what the sheet that looks like an oversize pillowcase is for. Duh.
12) The 92 bus is not included in the Green Zone. Well shit.
13) When the girls go shopping, they have small suitcases on wheels to carry everything in.
14) The guys all have man bags, we call them murses.
15) I LOVE LEEDS!

Above is
a store in City Center. I obviously had to take a picture of it because of the mannequin in the window. What a perfect kilt!
